The next Pacific-SW chapter meeting
will be held in Carlsbad, CA at the Windmill Restaurant on Sunday, November 20, 2005 at 1:00 PM.
The program is titled "Perspectives on regulatory writing", and our
speakers will be Robin Weaver and Jennifer Grodberg. Robin's
perspective is shaped by years of experience in the regulatory writing
field. She was director of medical writing at a major
biotech/pharmaceutical company in San Diego. Jennifer has
recently transitioned into the field from a research and drug
development background, so she can address what the learning curve is
like for a newcomer. No matter what sort of medical writing you
do, chances are your works depends on or references regulatory
materials at some point. Here's a chance to broaden your
understanding of how these important documents are written and
submitted.
As always, the meeting offers opportunities to network with other
medical writing professionals from the San Diego and Orange County
areas.
