The next Pacific-SW chapter meeting will be held in Carlsbad, CA at the Windmill Restaurant on Sunday, October 3, 2004 at 1:00.
Our speakers will be a panel of freelance writers. Their topics will include:
Incorporation and tax issues for freelance writers
Contracts with clients: The good and the bad
Client management - finding new clients, keeping them happy, estimates and billing
Scripting/storyboarding for CME and sales training e-learning programs
If youíre a freelance writer, or think you may want to become one
sometime, bring your questions, comments and experiences to our panel
discussion. If you work with freelance writers, here is your
chance to gain some insight into the mysterious workings of the
freelance psyche. As always, chapter meetings provide an opportunity to
visit and network with colleagues.
